Mt Joy 2025-2026 Tour Announcement – Hope We Have Fun Tour Schedule
Mt. Joy is back on the road in 2025–2026 for the “Hope We Have Fun Tour,” and needless to say, this trek will live up to its name. Launching on August 9th in Calgary, they’ll stop in all your favorite cities before wrapping up on September 27th in Philadelphia, PA.
The band released Hope We Have Fun on May 30th, a 13-track love letter to their fans and all they’ve endured in recent years. Even as the country is in a time of transition, Mt. Joy and their supporters have shown perseverance, friendship, and even a sense of oddball joy in periods of trouble. And both fans and critics have applauded this “glass-half-full” approach.
Melodic Mag gave an uplifting review, stating that “the sentiment itself is having relentless positivity and staying hopeful while trying to live the only way you know how given the circumstances.” Meanwhile, other publications gave every song the attention and admiration it deserves. The lead single, “More More More” builds from folky riffing to cathartic release….
While people are also raving about standouts like “God Loves Weirdos,” “Highway Queen” (ft. Maren Morris), and “Lucy.” These tracks build upon the indie folk-rock and Americana sound that Mt. Joy had made their own for nearly a decade, while also showing a sense of maturity that only comes with growth. A lot has happened since Mt. Joy’s last record, 2022’s Orange Blood, and it’s more than obvious on Hope We Have Fun.
Mt. Joy has climbed (no pun intended) to rapid success over the past few years, selling out New York’s Madison Square Garden, L.A.’s Greek Theatre, Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre and more. They’ll revisit many of these iconic venues on the 2025 Mt. Joy tour, while they’ve also made music festival appearances including Bonnaroo, Green River, and High Water. With authentic sincerity and unique sound, Mt. Joy has been one to watch since 2016….
And now, the Philadelphia natives are finally getting their moment. You can hear these new songs — along with old favorites like “Evergreen,” “Strangers,” and “Bathroom Light” — on the 2025 Mt. Joy tour. Get verified resale tickets now!
