Mt. Joy 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Mt. Joy is heading to a city near you in spring 2023, and you simply need to see the indie-rock group! They’ll kick off on April 6th in Isle of Palms, SC, making stops in Birmingham, AL, Savannah, GA, Lafayette, NY, and more before finishing up with three nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO.
“We want to push ourselves in 2023. Didn’t come this far just to come this far,” Mt. Joy said in a statement, “We feel like the show could be even better if we had more space to experiment with different sets and vibes even within one night.” “We’re going to try some shows without openers this year, and those shows will include 2 sets. The set length will vary slightly depending on the vibe. We really wanna focus more on decorating the time we have together each night and seeing where that takes us.”
Essentially, they’re saying that you’ll get to spend more time with the band on this Mt. Joy tour, and we love that for you! The group is supporting its third album, Orange Blood, released in June 2022, along with more hits from the past seven years. A two-hour setlist is plenty of time to take the crowd through their entire musical catalog, from 2018 hits like “Astrovan” and “Julia” to current favorites like “Lemon Tree” and “Don’t It Feel Good.” In addition to a longer show, they’re also going all out with stage design and showmanship!
“Don’t worry, we’re gonna play the songs; this will just allow us to play more of them,” the band further explained. “And of course, we’ll be pushing our production as far as budgets allow to make the show as immersive an experience as possible. It’s such a dream to be able to build the show we want you guys to see.
