Marco Antonio Solis 2023 Tour Announcement – El Bukis World Tour Schedule
Marco Antonio Solis is heading on the “El Bukis World tour” in spring and fall 2023, a splendid celebration of his legendary ballads and Latin pop hits! The Mexican singer will kick off on March 3rd in San Jose, CA, continuing through April 1st in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He’ll pick back up on August 12th in Los Angeles, CA, performing through October 15th in Rosemont, IL.
If it seems like Solis never tires of being onstage, that’s because he doesn’t! The Latin superstar embarked on his “Que Ganas De Verte tour” last year before reuniting with his former bandmates in Los Bukis after 25 years, with thousands of fans flocking to see him each night. And who can blame them, with his incredibly smooth and soulful voice, romantic lyrics, and legacy that includes every Latin music award known to man? Marco Antonio Solis is a musical icon that needs no introduction, and you’ll get a glimpse into every era of his career on the El Bukis world tour.
“My shows have romanticism as the common denominator, as does my 25-year career as a soloist,” says Solis, who left Grupero group Los Bukis in 1996 to go solo. “It’s a romantic show, but there are aspects of tropical, regional Mexican music, and we have a phenomenal orchestra. People love to see that, and we’re excited to have it live again. The public feeds us with their energy.”
Solis will also be joined by his own backing band, El Bukis, performing solo songs like “Si No Te Hubieras Ido,” “Más Que Tu Amigo,” and “Mi Eterno Amor Secreto” with major charisma and respect. “I’m so happy because there’s so much buzz about us meeting again with my fans,” he told Rolling Stone. “With the Bukis tour, I didn’t sing any of my solo songs out of respect for my bandmates. This is something new and different: it’s with my group, and serenading with my music as a soloist.”
“Serenading” is certainly the right term to describe Solis’ stage presence, earning him the reputation as a hopeless romantic along with being a hopelessly talented artist. From his teenage years in the 1970s with Los Bukis to his solo work in the 21st century, the setlist will show off his legacy as a Latin music icon from start to finish. Will you be there?
