Machine Head 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

A Machine Head tour is coming our way in fall 2022, and the heavy metal band is pulling out all the stops. They’ll kick off these Machine Head concerts on November 3rd in Fresno, CA, and make stops in Missoula, MT, Joliet, IL, Charlotte, NC, and more before concluding on December 23rd in Sacramento, CA.

Currently touring in Europe, it’s clear that Machine Head has just as much fun performing as their fans do while standing in the crowd. Their Instagram page documents the band’s entire journey across the globe, referring to Sweden as a “good old fashioned hot, sweaty, sold out rager of a show” and praising the “absolutely jaw dropping, mind boggling FIVE SIMULTANEOUS CIRCLE PITS” in Vienna. With Europe getting these five-star reviews for every sold-out Machine Head show, it’s safe to say that the US won’t disappoint. The heavy metal heroes are excited to make their way to cities like Little Rock, AK, Dallas, TX, Cincinnati, OH, and more, and they can’t wait to see you in the crowd. 

Machine Head is celebrating their brand-new tenth effort, Of Kingdom and Crown, released in August 2022. Their first concept album ever, featuring ragers like “My Hands Are Empty,” “Unhallowed,” and “No Gods, No Masters,” is proving to be one of the best records of their three-decade career. Blabbermouth provided a flawless review describing the new Machine Head album as “a murderous musical rampage that brings passion, technicality and a million great ideas together in a cyclone of massive riffs and even bigger hooks,” and they didn’t even stop at that grand compliment.

“Of Kingdom And Crown is a flawless show of strength: the kind of life-affirming metal album that bands rarely seem to make these days,” the music publication continued, “Pound for pound, it’s the greatest record MACHINE HEAD have ever made.” It’s a big statement for a band that’s owned the metal scene since the early 1990s, but plenty of fans and critics agree that Machine Head has outdone themselves. This includes lead vocalist Robb Flynn, who calls Of Kingdom and Crown a “very guitar-heavy, ferocious album.” While the setlist will surely include your favorite classic hits from over the years, like “Davidian,” “Darkness Within,” and “Locust,” their latest record of ragers will take center stage on this Machine Head tour.
