It’s going to be a busy year for Luke Bryan. The country singer is heading on the Proud To Be Right Here Tour this summer, beginning July 8th in Syracuse, before resuming his annual Farm Tour in fall 2021 after a year away.
It’s not just tours that were postponed due to COVID-19, but also new music. Luke Bryan’s seventh album, Born Here Live Here Die Here, was released in August 2020, nearly six months after it was intended to be… while the accompanying Luke Bryan tour was rescheduled for 2021.
Fans were disappointed that they had to wait to hear Bryan perform hits like “Knockin’ Boots” and “One Margarita,” but the country music star is surely going to make “Proud To Be Right Here” one of the best summer tours of 2021. Even better? He’ll begin the fall with his annual Farmer’s Tour, a celebration of farmers that goes across six cities and pays homage to Bryan’s roots.
“I think I am more excited about this year’s Farm Tour than any other year,” Bryan said in a statement. “Growing up in a farming family in rural Georgia I know how hard farming can be even on a good year, and how hard those families work — from sun-up to sundown.”
“After the challenges we have all faced in the last year with so many people losing their jobs, struggling to put food on their tables, food supply chains jeopardized, grocery stores struggling to keep food on the shelves in some areas, it is so apparent to me, and I hope everyone, why our farmers are truly the backbone of our country,” he continued. “They never stopped providing for all of us. Ever. It’s time to thank our farmers, once again.”
