Nine stages, to be precise. Lollapalooza takes place in Chicago’s Grant Park, where you can sip drinks, try delicious eats, and dance along to your favorite artists! It’s the Midwest version of Coachella, with more than a few perks like less heat and a smaller crowd. The most prominent artists in the world are coming together for a Lollapalooza experience unlike any other, and this festival is made for all types of music fans.
All genres are welcome at Lollapalooza 2022. Doja Cat and The Kid Laroi have the rap ragers covered, Zach Bryan brings a little bit of country, and Glass Animals and Still Woozy is all about the indie bops. Of course, the rock fans will likely be the most excited about Lollapalooza. Metallica, Green Day, and Dashboard Confessional are all set to make appearances, along with special guest Jane Addiction to remind everybody that rock is having a significant moment in 2022.
And then there’s Machine Gun Kelly, the rapper-turned-rocker and music festival favorite that’s guaranteed to draw in a huge crowd.
