Lacuna Coil 2023 Tour Announcement – October Dawn Tour Schedule

Lacuna Coil is heading into spooky season with a bang! The Italian goth rockers will kick off their US tour beginning October 14th in Atlanta, GA. They’ll make stops in Louisville, KY, Dallas, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, and more before wrapping up on the 29th in St. Petersburg, FL.

“OCTOBER DAWN is coming, are you ready?,” Lacuna Coil wrote on Instagram. “Join us this fall as we hit the road with the mighty @fearfactory and @lionsatthegate. Watch out Destin and St. Petersburg, as there will be a line up change: Fear Factory will pass the torch to the east coast killers @godforbidofficial.” If this rock-centric and rage-worthy lineup wasn’t enough, the headliners also have some new tunes to share!

Okay, don’t get too excited, as Lacuna Coil has yet to release their tenth album due later this year (more on that later!). However, they did just come out with a new single, “Never Dawn,” a hard-hitting track that’s jam-packed with ethereal melodies, intense guitar riffs, and hauntingly beautiful back-and-forth vocals. Between Cristina Scabbia’s emotive high notes and Andrea Ferro’s gruff screams, the song commands your attention for nearly five minutes. All while you fantasize about the live rendition.

Spoiler alert: Lacuna Coil will be performing this song for you very soon! Along with more new tracks that they’ve admitted to working on over the past year. Fans have patiently awaited the follow-up to 2019’s Black Anima, and while Lacuna Coil has stated that the new record will likely be released in 2023, they’ve been taking their time on releasing new tunes. This is due to their need to collect everyday, more positive, and less pandemic-related content, which is just fine with us!

“We actually wrote a few songs. We have, like five [or] six songs that we’re working on, but it was not time yet to release a full record,” Scabbia told Metal Injection last year. “Also because we really base our inspiration on life, on experiences, and, to be honest, we didn’t want to write a record about the pandemic. We wanted to go out again, meet people, live experiences, live life and get ready to bring everything in our music again. So we collected a ton of material.”
