Knotfest Iowa 2021 Lineup
Knotfest is returning to Iowa on September 25th, and it’s going to be a monumental event for metal fans everywhere. Slipknot will be headlining their annual festival at National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, IA, along with a dozen guests including Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb of God, and Fever 333.
“With the world opening up, it’s time to get excited about life again,” said Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor while announcing the Knotfest Roadshow. “To get back to life again. This tour is a long time coming and we hope you’re as excited to see it as we are to play it. Stay safe, and we’ll see you soon.”

Established in 2012, Knotfest has been held as both a touring and destination festival. While Slipknot is excited to visit 24 cities on the upcoming Knotfest Roadshow tour, the band will always have a special place in their heart for their hometown of Iowa. That’s why the September 25th Slipknot concert in Indianola, IA will have the band sharing the stage with twelve heavy metal heavyweights – opening up the mosh pit and welcoming back live music with open arms.
Megadeth, Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Lamb of God… just a few big names that you can see on September 25th at Knotfest Iowa. And then there are the festival headliners, who will be performing rock hits from all six of their studio albums, including 2019’s We Are Not Your Kind. Rumors have been swirling throughout 2021 that a new Slipknot album is currently in the works… and fans are hoping that they’ll get a sneak peek at Knotfest Iowa!
