Khruangbin 2021 US Tour Schedule: Festivals & Concert Dates
Khruangbin is all set to get back on stage, announcing a series of festival appearances and headlining concerts throughout 2021. Beginning with the Maha Festival in Omaha, NE, the trio will stop at Outside Lands, Bonnaroo, Railbird Festival, and more before ending their 2021 dates in Atlanta, GA, from December 2–4th.
The trio has been teasing upcoming performances with vivid illustrations on the Khruangbin Instagram – ranging from the Newport Jazz Festival in Newport, RI to a headlining show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO. Who else is excited to see the colorful stage lights of Khruangbin concerts reflected on the red rocks at one of the US’s most gorgeous venues?
Khruangbin is a global phenomenon in more ways than one. Not only have they gained a fanbase all over the world, but their musical style incorporates elements from a multitude of cultures. Their debut album, 2015’s The Universe Smiles Upon You, is based upon Thai music of the 1960s, while 2018’s Con Todo El Mundo draws upon Spanish and Middle Eastern influences.
While known to blend various musical genres – including funk, rock, dub, and soul – those who love Khruangbin most commonly associate them with bass-heavy, psychedelic hits. These songs will be plentiful on the upcoming tour, especially since it’s the first Khruangbin tour featuring tracks from their 2020 album, Mordechai.
While the pandemic prevented Khruangbin from touring in support of their third album in 2020, the band is ready to perform and party hard in 2021.
