Kehlani is stepping into their self-titled era with “The Kehlani World Tour,” and this one feels like it’s been a long time coming. The 33-date North American run kicks off August 6 at The Armory in Minneapolis, MN, before heading to Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, San Diego, Inglewood, Seattle, Vancouver and more. They’ll wrap things up October 3 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Their fifth album, Kehlani, arrived in April through Atlantic Records…and fans were eager to hear these new songs. Self-titled records are usually a symbol of reset, declaration, or simply becoming 100% comfortable in your own skin and sound. And in Kehlani’s case? It may just be all of the above. “Folded” is Kehlani’s first song to reach the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, while also winning two Grammy awards and setting the tone for her self-titled era.
