Karol G is taking her reggaeton hits to the stage for her first-ever headlining tour, dubbed the Bichota tour. The Colombian singer has expressed her excitement on social media about this 20-date trek, which begins on October 27th in Denver, CO, and wraps up on November 26th in Miami, FL.
“It’s a dream for me to be able to return to the stage after everything stopped in 2020. I was very excited to know that I’ll be able to share my music again live with all my fans,” Karol G said in a statement. “Having the opportunity to be face to face with them is the best news I have received this year.” The singer also posted a selfie on Instagram in an empty arena, providing a teaser of the upcoming Karol G tour.
Karol G’s blend of reggaeton and Latin trap hits have been steadily climbing the charts, with her hit “Tusa” alongside Nicki Minaj appearing on the Billboard and Rolling Stone top 100 lists. It also became the “first song by two lead female artists to debut at number one on the US Hot Latin Songs chart,” according to Billboard, and was nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards. “Tusa” appeared on Karol G’s third studio album, 2021’s KGO516, and fans are excited to hear it on the Karol G tour.
Between her collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Bad Bunny and her Latin hits that continue to climb the charts, the 30-year-old Karol G has become one of the biggest artists of 2021. While people were disappointed when the first headlining Karol G tour was postponed in 2020, she’s definitely going to ensure that these concerts are memorable. Her blue hair will stand out onstage from all areas of the arena!
