Judas Priest 2024 Tour Announcement – Invincible Shield Tour Schedule
Judas Priest has extended the “Invincible Shield Tour” into the fall of 2024! Supported by Sabaton, the British metal troops will kick off on September 13th in Montreal, QC, and continue through October 26th in Irving, TX.
It’s been an incredible few years for Judas Priest. After embarking on their 50th anniversary tour in 2022, the band released its nineteenth album, Invincible Shield, in March. Marking their first new release in six years, this album is filled with fresh riffs and exhilarating choruses. In fact, most critics believe it to be one of their best releases yet. And for a band that’s been around for half a century, that’s no easy feat.
Louder Sound gave Invincible Shield a much-coveted 4.5-star review, calling it “what may well be the most defiantly, unrelentingly triumphant record of their career.” Meanwhile, Kerrang! referred to it as “a record with the kind of undeniable quality that will captivate fresh-faced newcomers just as much as weathered veterans.” Where is the lie?
Judas Priest concerts — with their advanced pyrotechnics, killer crowd participation, and carefully-crafted stage designs — are a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all types of rock fans. Whether you’re the same age as the band members (AKA, a little up there) or a Gen Z’er who found the power of metal through TikTok, you’ll love these new tunes. Simply put, modern tracks like “Panic Attack,” “Trial By Fire,” and “Crown of Horns” are a Metalhead’s dream.
They’re both classic Judas Priest, comprised of theatrical vocals and complex guitar solos, and also symbolic of the band’s growth that only comes from a hiatus at the height of a global pandemic. The group has had a blast performing these Invincible Shield songs. Along with classics like “Breaking the Law,” “Painkiller,” and “The Green Manalishi.” And they’re not even close to finished.
Judas Priest are legends in the world of metal. They’ve sold over 50 million albums, won countless awards, and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, just to name a few accolades. But it’s their live shows that keep fans coming back for more, and you won’t be disappointed with the Invincible Shield tour. Get your tickets now!
