Journey 2024 Tour Announcement – Freedom Tour Schedule
Journey has extended the “Freedom Tour” yet again! Joined by Toto, the world-famous rock band will visit 30 new cities in 2024. They’ll kick off these Journey concerts on February 9th in Biloxi, MS, continuing through April 29th in Bridgeport, CT.
This Journey tour has been selling out arenas for nearly two years now, as fans can’t get enough of Freedom. The band’s fifteenth album (and first in eleven years) knocked the socks off every rock fan in a ten-mile radius! Seriously, new songs like “The Way We Used To Be,” “Let It Rain,” and “Don’t Give Up on Us” have impressed even the most diehard, “Don’t Stop Believin'”-obsessed Journey fans. As Journey celebrates its 50th anniversary as a band in 2023, they’re gearing up for some of their grandest shows yet. This means not only the new rock radio essentials from Freedom, but also their oldest and most epic songs. You know, the ones that helped them become the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers they are today! These include not only “Don’t Stop Believin'” but also “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Open Arms,” “Wheel In The Sky,” and more.
“It’s quite an accomplishment and I’m very proud of what we’ve done and how we’ve gotten through emotional and personnel changes and survived,” Journey guitarist Neal Schon told USA Today last year. “It’s pretty mind-boggling but also a lot of hard work.” Journey has always been known as a prime performance band…putting on an insane show every night even as they endured lineup changes, global pandemics, and more. And while it may have taken them a good while to complete their latest album, they’re cashing in on the success of Freedom as long as they can.
