Jon Langston is performing through the end of the year, and we can’t wait to see the country crooner! The next Jon Langston concert takes place on July 29th in Jacksonville, NC, with stops in Laconia, NH, Athens, GA, Fayetteville, AK, and more before concluding on November 12th in Columbia, MO.
The list of Jon Langston concerts has been plentiful in 2022. He even made his debut at the renowned Grand Ole Opry in Nashville! This time he’s heading to a few smaller stages, including his home state of Georgia, to play classic tracks like “Right Girl Wrong Time,” “Forever Girl,” and “Southern Drawl.” There’s also the handful of 2022 singles he’s released, like “If You Want Love” and “Back Words,” which we only hope are leading to a new Jon Langston album.
It’s been a while since Langston released the last of three EPs, his self-titled release, in 2015… but there have been plenty of hit singles and music videos to keep fans satisfied. The 31-year-old country crooner most recently put out “Back Words,” a solid breakup song co-written by a set of county megastars. This includes HARDY, who sang on the demo track and convinced Langston that it was worth recording.
“The first time I heard [“Back Words”], HARDY was singing the demo and he’s such an amazing songwriter and amazing singer,” Langston told Country Now, “When I heard it, I was like ‘oh my gosh it’s gonna be hard to try and top his craft.” “He does his own stuff and that’s awesome, but I’m trying to make that song my own and I think that worked out,” he told the publication. “I fell in love with the song when I heard it and it sounded like something I wanted to say and something I would have written. These guys are amazing songwriters and I’m so happy I cut their song.”
