Jason Mraz 2021 Tour Announcement – Live & Acoustic Tour Schedule
Jason Mraz is heading to a city near you on his Live & Acoustic tour, and you’ll be swooning over your favorite 2000s crooner. He’ll begin performances on November 26th in Newport News, VA, and continue for several weeks before wrapping up on December 22nd in Riverside, CA.
This Jason Mraz tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of his 2001 album, Live & Acoustic 2001. The record holds a special place in the folk-pop-rock singer’s heart, released before his debut studio album (and a ticket to mainstream success), Waiting for My Rocket to Come, in 2002.
With Mraz releasing a limited-edition version of his very first record, featuring two unreleased recordings and a vinyl version, now is the time to get back on the road! He’s excited to slow things down a bit and serenade his fans both old and new, with tracks from Live & Acoustic along with other hit Jason Mraz songs like “I’m Yours” and “Love Someone.”
“Live & Acoustic celebrates the poetry, harmony, and humor that became the foundation for my entire career,” Mraz said in a statement. “It’s not only fun to replay and reimagine that material; I believe it’s important to remember and honor where we came from and how we got here.”
Mraz’s sentiment rings true, as Live & Acoustic helped him carve out a beautiful career – with seven hit albums, multiple Grammy Awards, and legions of fans who have basked in his pop-rock hits for the past two decades. While the 20th anniversary of the first Jason Mraz album is taking center stage on this tour, the 44-year-old has plenty to celebrate.
The seventh Jason Mraz album, Look For the Good, was released in 2020 and delivered the surreal escapism we needed in a stressful year. Mraz was finally able to embark on his Look For the Good tour in summer 2021, which celebrated the album’s folk, pop, and rock-reggae vibes. The pace will be a bit slower on the November Jason Mraz tour, but just as exciting!
