Incubus 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Incubus is heading on the road with Sublime with Rome, and it’s going to be one of the best rock tours of summer 2022! See the alt-rock bands beginning July 24th in West Palm Beach, FL, and ending September 3rd in Bend, OR.
The band last hit the road in fall 2021, with a mini Incubus tour that consisted of seven shows around the US. It was a bit of a “first-course” style trek for rock fans as we adjusted to pre-pandemic concerts. However, Brandon Boyd and his bandmates are now ready to get back on stage for a much bigger Incubus tour. They’ll be visiting cities like Atlanta, GA, Syracuse, NY, Austin, TX, and more on this 26-date expedition.
There are plenty of things to look forward to on the 2022 Incubus tour. There’s the merging of two iconic Southern California rock bands that presents a possibility of onstage collaboration, along with the act of fist-pumping under the stars at the country’s best outdoor venues. But perhaps most importantly? Incubus has hinted that they’ll soon begin working on their ninth album. It will mark their first since 2017’s 8!
Don’t get us wrong, we can’t wait to hear the classics like “Drive,” “Dig,” or “Wish You Were Here” that helped make Incubus become one of the biggest rock bands worldwide since 1991. But we also look forward to a new record that represents the 2020s in all its glory – the good, the bad, and the downright ugly.
While the pandemic prevented them from gathering in person, is Incubus like the many other bands who made an entire album over Zoom during quarantine? During an interview with Consequence, Frontman Brandon Boyd was coy but made it very clear how much he loves making music with his brothers.
“We’re always talking about making new music together, and it’s really fun and wonderfully challenging to write music with the guys in the band,” he told the publication. “I have no doubt that once we just get into our band room and just start playing that new music is going to emerge. That’s usually how it happens. When we get together to rehearse for some upcoming shows, we’re swiftly reminded how much fun it is to be in the band and to make new music.”
