Goo Goo Dolls 2025 Tour Announcement – Summer Anthem Tour Schedule
Goo Goo Dolls and Dashboard Confessional are teaming up for the “Summer Anthem Tour” in 2025, and let’s just say that you should have your tissues ready! These rockers are known for stirring up emotions in every song, and you won’t be able to help but sing (and cry) along. They’ll begin on July 13th in Phoenix, AZ, stopping in 20+ cities before wrapping up on September 12th in Camdenton, MS.
“We are truly excited to bring our SUMMER ANTHEM TOUR to all our friends in the US next year!” the band wrote last November. “We’re busy putting together our 15th studio album so we will have some great new songs and of course we’ll be playing all the songs you know and love. Every tour we do is about making new friends and reuniting with everyone who’s been with us since day one. In addition, we’ll be joined by Dashboard Confessional! It’s gonna be a summer of loud music and good friends and we can’t wait to get it going!”
The name ‘Goo Goo Dolls’ is often synonymous with various genres from the 90s — namely pop, rock, grunge — which they blur together with the utmost harmony. Literally. The Buffalo-born pop-rock duo (consisting of John Rzeznik and Mike Malnin) is behind chart toppers like “Slide,” “Name,” and of course, the eternal tearjerker “Iris.” And as the group’s statement suggests, the Summer Anthem tour will be a melodious mix of both classics from every decade and long-awaited future gems.
They’re celebrating the 30th anniversary of their fifth album, 1995’s A Boy Named Goo, and nodding towards the future with new, as-yet-unreleased tracks. What’s not to love? Goo Goo Dolls tours aren’t as frequent as other artists, but when they do come around, you can’t miss your chance to sing along to “Iris.” There’s a reason the 4x-Grammy nominees have sold more than 15 million records and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame…their legacy in alt-rock is unmatched.
Even after nearly four decades as a band (their 40th anniversary is next year!), Goo Goo Dolls have still got it. And don’t forget, they promised to provide a sneak peek of new music on the Summer Anthem tour! Get your tickets to see them, and Dashboard Confessional, today.
