Godsmack 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

Godsmack is hitting the road for a fall 2024 tour! Joined by Nothing Mark and Flat Black, the hard rock heroes will begin on September 26th in St. Paul, MN, continuing through October 26th in Uncasville, CT.

They’ll also make appearances at Upheaval Festival and Inkcarceration, respectively, marking their return to playing revolutionary heavy hits onstage. They slowed things down a bit this spring with the Vibez tour, a selection of acoustic performances and intimate stories that strayed from Godmack’s usual path. And while fans enjoyed the serenity for a short time, they’re also ready to rage with their favorites again.

And rage, they shall with the singles off the eighth (and possibly last) Godsmack album, 2023’s Lighting Up The Sky. Tracks like “Surrender,” “You and I,” and “Soul On Fire” are a grand slam of grunge perfection that remind you why Godsmack has been among the best in their genre for three decades. And as they mix these new tunes with old favorites like “I Stand Alone,” “Cryin’ Like a B*tch,” and “Under Your Scars,” the emotions are set to run even higher.

So why, you may ask, would a band as successful as Godsmack want to stop making music? It’s complicated, but drummer Shannon Larkin tried his best to explain it. “I’m not saying it’s all because we’re old,” Larkin, who is 56, told Blabbermouth. “We also feel like we’ve had great success — we haven’t had a flop — and we don’t wanna keep on going until we get a flop and then have to go out like that. So our thinking was go out on top.”

“We’re not saying we’re gonna break up; we’re not breaking up,” he clarified. “There’s a thing called cycle touring. So you put a record out. That’s a product. And we sell it, and we make money. But it’s still a product that we have to sell, and if your product doesn’t sell, then you let down a lot of people. And so there’s pressure to be in a band like ours.”
