Glass Animals 2021 Tour Announcement – Dreamland Tour Schedule
Are you ready to dance into Dreamland with Glass Animals? The British electropop group is preparing for a North American tour this fall, supporting their third studio album Dreamland. Performances will begin on August 30th in Lewiston, NY, and continue through June 15th in Morrison, CO.
“NORTH AMERICA. IT’S HAPPENING. So ecstatic to announce our 2021 & 2022 DREAMLAND TOUR,” the band wrote on the Glass Animals Instagram. They also requested that followers share their favorite concert moments on the post, demonstrating how excited Glass Animals is to embark on the Dreamland tour.
The responses on the Glass Animals Instagram were inspiring, from the concert-goer who witnessed somebody throw a pineapple onstage to the one who claimed that the group had gotten them through “the lowest point of their life.” The good times will just keep coming on the Dreamland tour, providing a surge of nostalgia mixed with autobiographical lyrics and catchy beats.
As the follow-up to 2016’s How to Be a Human Being, the Dreamland album was released in August 2020 to mostly positive reviews. It was largely written and produced by Glass Animals frontman Dave Bayley, serving as a lyrical autobiography that takes one back to the 1990s and 2000s. Are millennial listeners ready for references to Dr. Dre, Friends, and Pikachu? They’re guaranteed with Dreamland.
The venues on the upcoming Glass Animals tour offer variety for all – as the group is playing everywhere from the country’s biggest music festivals (Bonnaroo and Outside Lands) to the fields of a cemetery (Hollywood Forever Cemetery, of course).
