For King and Country 2024 Tour Announcement – A Drummer Boy Christmas Tour Schedule
For King and Country will embark on the annual “A Drummer Boy Christmas tour” later in 2025, signaling a return to the stage after more than a year’s hiatus. The Christian pop-rock duo will begin on December 2nd in Orlando, FL, continuing through December 19th in Nashville, TN.
“We’re doing these concerts in theaters and amphitheaters,” Joel Smallbone, who fronts the band with his brother, Luke, told The Christian Post in an interview. “Other than the Opry, we usually do these massive, kind of arena, big, bombastic shows. But what we discovered last year at the Beacon Theater in New York and the O2 Theater in London is there’s something doubly impacting about being up-close and personal.”
“We might be adding some brand-new original for KING & COUNTRY songs that we will have never played live before.” Not only do we get to see the Smallbone brothers up close and personal, but we’re also getting access to never-heard-before tunes? Sounds like Christmas to us. For King & Country has set out on the holiday tour for five wonderful years now, but there’s something even more magical brewing in the air for 2025.
Last year, For King & Country released two new records — Unsung Hero, and the live A Drummer Boy Christmas concert experience that put fans right at the center of the magic. Based on their 2020 album of the same name, created to bring a little holiday spirit into the pandemic days, this record, and its subsequent holiday hits, have become a major part of their brand. Fans near and far gather to hear “Little Drummer Boy,” “Heavenly Hosts,” and “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” each year….
And it’s a joyous occasion for all involved. Now, after For King & Country’s year-and-a-half hiatus from performing, it hits even more beautifully in the midst of uncertainty. For over 15 years now, For King and Country has impressed the Christian community and beyond with their faith-based melodies that weave in contemporary pop and rock influences. Their songs often feature rich harmonies, dynamic instrumentation, and themes of hope, love, and resilience.
They’ve been on the road nonstop since releasing their fifth album, 2022’s What Are We Waiting For?. However, this holiday trek will be extra special. The GRAMMY-winning duo is returning to the stage with a heart full of love; dedicated to sharing the importance of family, friends, and fans through every uplifting song. And they can’t wait to hear you sing along. Get your For King and Country tickets now!
