Foo Fighters 2024 Tour Announcement – Everything Or Nothing At All Tour Schedule
Foo Fighters have a full-length stadium trek planned for 2024! The rock band will begin on July 17th in New York, NY, continuing through August 18th in their hometown of Seattle, WA. Pretenders, The Hives, Mammoth WVH, Amyl and The Sniffers, and more will join as supporting acts.
The uproar surrounding the 2024 Foo Fighters tour began when the band made a cryptic Instagram post in September 2023. Set to the tune of their all new song, “Nothing At All,” the video of an animated compass soon earned nearly 140,000 likes. And while Dave Grohl and Co. kept fans in the dark with a mysterious caption, in authentic Foo Fighters fashion, they did hashtag #FF2024. Many longtime fans of the rock group knew instantly what that meant…it’s time for yet another Foo Fighters tour!
After all, that’s how the Seattle group announced their critically-acclaimed 25th anniversary tour in 2021, which was postponed due to the pandemic. Not to mention, countless other engagements over their nearly three decades together! They’ve played music festivals all year in support of their eleventh album, this year’s But Here We Are. And while they gathered incredible crowds at Riot Fest, Austin City Limits, and Ohana Festival, they also knew that it was time for some headlining Foo Fighters concerts.
Who else can’t wait to hear their new singles, like “Rescued,” “Under You,” “Show Me How,” and “The Teacher,” live for the first time? Plus older essentials like “Everlong,” “The Pretender,” “My Hero,” and “Best of You?” Their signature mix of alternative rock and grunge, courtesy of Grohl’s roots in Nirvana, has lived rent-free in our heads for years…but especially since their June album release. And we’re not the only ones obsessed with the new Foo Fighters record. SPIN referred to But Here We Are as “one of the strongest albums of the band’s career,” while NPR called it “a fantastic record full of riffs and reflection.”
Meanwhile, The New York Times provided a grand review and called the project “explosive, emotional, and inspired.” Essentially, that may just sum it up! Foo Fighters have been to hell and back over the past few years. Between the tragic deaths of drummer Taylor Hawkins and Grohl’s mother, among other things, they had plenty of lyrical inspiration right at their fingertips. However, the also wanted to musically celebrate rather than drown in sorrow. The band described But Here We Are as “sonically channeling the naivete of Foo Fighters’ 1995 debut album, informed by decades of maturity and depth.”
The result? One of their most reflective and heartbreakingly relatable albums in years, and that’s really saying something. We were already impressed with their last record, 2021’s Medicine at Midnight, but these new songs are next level! Foo Fighters continue to prove why they’re one of the best rock bands in the world, serving up a mix of old and new songs on the Everything Or Nothing At All Tour. Get your tickets today!
