Foo Fighters are coming to a stadium near you in 2022, celebrating the release of their tenth album with 17 shows! The Medicine at Midnight tour begins on May 14th in Burgettstown, PA, and continues through August 20th in Los Angeles, CA.
Fans have been anxiously awaiting more Foo Fighters concerts since Medicine at Midnight was released in February 2021. This album features Dave Grohl and his bandmates infusing dance-rock and power pop elements into their trademark grungy sound – and supporters were pleasantly surprised. This Foo Fighters tour marks the first since the band’s 26th anniversary shows in summer 2021, which were postponed multiple times due to the pandemic. While fans loved celebrating the band’s quarter-century career – taking in their greatest hits like “Everlong,” “My Hero,” and “Best of YouT” – talk of a new album has been circling for years. Foo Fighters released medicine at Midnight in early 2021, a follow-up to 2017’s Concrete and Gold, and fans liked what they heard.
This album serves as a musical transition for the Foo Fighters, from the colorful cover art to the dance-pop elements that infuse singles like “No Son of Mine” and “Making a Fire,” this album serves as a musical transition for the Foo Fighters.
