Fitz and the Tantrums 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Fitz and the Tantrums are going on tour in summer 2022, and they’re bringing a few friends with them. Joined by St Paul & The Broken Bones, this trek will kick off on June 1st in Asheville, NC, and continue through June 25th in Council Bluffs, IA.
“We’re so excited to hit the road again. More than ever, we appreciate the awesome power of live music and the joy that it brings,” the six-piece band said in a statement. “We can’t wait to sing, dance, and celebrate with all of you.” The feeling is mutual for fans of the multiplatinum group, many of whom flocked to their festival appearances in summer 2021 as live music made its return.
The indie-pop and neo-soul group, led by Michael Fitzpatrick, played alongside All Time Low, Colony House, and Lovelytheband last year at the Sound Mind Mental Health Music Festival. They even had a few in-car concerts to follow safety protocol! But now they’re ready for a proper return with their first headlining tour in ages, playing hits like “Out of My League,” “HandClap,” and “Don’t Gotta Work It Out” as fans dance the night away.
The group has released four albums since 2010; the last being 2019’s All the Feels. They’ve dropped new hints about new music coming soon, while frontman Michael Fitzpatrick has also emerged as a solo artist. Going by the moniker FITZ, he released his debut solo album, Head Up High, in 2021. We know you’ve enjoyed his appearances on The Ellen Degeneres Show and Good Morning America as he plays his latest singles, but can it compare to the infectious energy he brings to a Fitz and the Tantrums concert?
