Erasure 2022 Tour Announcement – The Neon Tour Schedule
Erasure is finally going on tour in support of their eighteenth album, The Neon, and it’s going to be one of the most colorful and captivating treks of 2022. You can see the British synthpop group beginning January 14th in Miami Beach, FL, and ending February 27th in Las Vegas, NV.
Vince Clarke and Andy Bell were set to be busy throughout 2020, releasing The Neon in August and celebrating the group’s 35th anniversary with a series of performances. Of course, the pandemic put their tour on hold, but the appreciation for their decades-long career was very much alive.
Fans loved new Erasure songs like Hey Now (Think I Got a Feeling)”, “Nerves of Steel,” and “Kid You’re Not Alone.” The synth-pop beats created positive vibes that served as a much-needed break from the sadness of 2020, and the only question remaining was when there would be another Erasure tour. The two men had no idea at the time, and Clarke even admitted that he had mixed feelings about heading back on the road.
“I’m feeling it right now,” Clarke told Forbes regarding the pandemic’s effect on music and concerts. “Even though sometimes I say that touring isn’t necessarily the best part of this life or this career, the fact that now I’m looking at another year, or maybe longer, of not touring? I think it does get to you.”
Erasure has been putting on energetic live shows for over three decades, so it’s easy to see why the time away affected both Clarke and Bell, along with their fans. Light shows, singalongs, and corsets are typical at an Erasure show, and the good times just keep coming with these electropop icons.
