Echosmith 2022 Tour Announcement – Hang Around Tour Schedule
Echosmith is heading on the “Hang Around tour” in fall 2022, with the indie pop-rock group visiting 25 cities. They’ll kick off these Echosmith concerts on October 13th in Nashville, TN, with stops in Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, and more before wrapping up on November 19th in San Diego, CA.
The group has been promoting this Echosmith tour nonstop on Instagram, from animated promo videos around Italy to asking fans to comment on which city they’ll visit for a show. The answers range from Philadelphia, PA, and Austin, TX, to closer to Echosmith’s hometown of Chino, CA, and they wouldn’t have it any other way. Whether you’ve been a fan since their formation in 2006 or recently discovered them due to the “I wish I could be like the cool kids” trend on TikTok, these Echosmith concerts are one of the must-see concert events of fall 2022.
“It’s going to be so much fun, lots of female vibes on this Echosmith tour, which we love,” lead singer Sydney Sierota said on Instagram Live. “We definitely have more new music coming our before these shows that we’ll play, and we plan on performing some unreleased songs too.” She concluded, “I kinda want to play some of the fan faves, but also reimagining some of the older ones to fit the new vibe. It will be a mix [of old and new songs].”
What is the new vibe, exactly? If the new single, “Hang Around,” is any indication… Their infectious pop hooks mixed with breezy, upbeat lyrics give you (as the kids say) all the feels. Grimy Goods describes the track as “as much a song about true love blossoming between two people as it is about the band’s own rediscovery of their love for making music,” and it sounds like the three Sierota siblings agree. They’ve openly stated their new music is another chapter, unlike their last record, 2020’s Lonely Generation, and they can’t wait to see you at the show.
