Dylan Scott has announced the “Amen to That tour” for fall 2022, taking the country-pop singer to 13 cities. Joined by Lily Rose, he’ll kick off this Dylan Scott tour on September 28th in Los Angeles, CA, and continue through November 5th in Little Rock, AR.
This Dylan Scott tour was hyped up on Instagram with a video of the singer performing across various cities while belting the track named after this trek. “Amen To That” is a single from his second album, Livin’ My Best Life, which is set for release in August 2022. The record’s themes include both present and past love and the Louisiana native’s journey into the Nashville country music scene.
He’s accomplished a great deal in the past several years, including the hit song “Nobody,” which helped him score his second No.1 hit and a CMT Music Award for “Breakthrough Video of the Year.” However, he remains humble about his successes and ensures that fans can relate to every track. “New Track” is an excellent example, with Scott giving a simple and sweet explanation to American Songwriter about the roots of this hit single.
“It’s about a guy who gets in his truck after being in a relationship with this girl, and he’s still seeing memories of the past and the things they did,” says Scott. “The lyrics talk about finding her chapstick or ponytail holder, and the only way to get away from that is to get a new truck. So it’s a pretty cool spin on it, and I think it’s very relatable to everybody.” Anybody who’s ever thrown out their ex’s favorite hoodie or skincare products can relate to this statement, and it reminds you that Scott is learning about the intricacies of love just like the rest of us.
