Darius Rucker 2023 Tour Announcement -Starting Fires Tour Schedule
Darius Rucker is heading on the “Starting Fires tour” in the summer of 2023! The Americana hero will kick off on June 15th in Roanoke, VA. Then, he’ll make stops in Alpharetta, GA, Milwaukee, WI, Irvine, CA, and more before concluding on October 14th in Nashville, TN.
“Let’s do it! Looking forward to being back on the road with Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors and Drew Green this year,” Rucker wrote on Instagram. His millions of fans across the globe certainly feel the same, especially as Rucker prepares to drop a long-awaited seventh album, Carolyn’s Boy. It’s his first record in nearly six years, a loving tribute to his late mother, who passed away in 1992.
“I wanted to name the record Carolyn’s Boy because Mom never got to see any of my success,” Rucker told TODAY last year. “She died before any of this happened, so it’s just another homage to the greatest woman I’ve ever known.” Aw! Have you heard the new singles, “Ol’ Church Hymn” and “Same Beer Different Problem?” These tracks pay tribute to his mother, Carolyn, in a beautiful way. And it’s just the beginning of Rucker “starting fires” to reignite her legacy.
