COIN 2024 Tour Announcement – I’m Not Afraid of Tour Anymore

Have you heard? COIN isn’t afraid of tour anymore! The indie-pop favorites are kicking off a new trek to celebrate both their new album and this exciting new revelation, and it’s gonna be epic. They’ll begin on September 29th in Franklin, TN, continuing for several months before wrapping up on March 5, 2025, in Tulsa, OK.

COIN is preparing for the launch of their fifth studio album, I’m Not Afraid of Music Anymore, set to release on September 13th. The title alone hints at a newfound confidence and a willingness to push their musical boundaries even further, and is there anything better for a COIN fan? The eclectic group has had us dancing in our cars and bedrooms for over two years now with their last album, 2022’s Uncanny Valley. And the new songs will be even more fearless and fresh.

Exhibit A? “Strawberry Jam,” the first single that’s simple but oh-so-catchy. The lightweight and breezy track has more feel-good vibes than one could want — making it ideal for the summer. From the soft and sweet vocals of Chase Lawrence to the post-chorus harmonica solo that has us on our toes, it’s a near perfect track for both old and new COIN fans. And there will be plenty more where that came from when the new album comes out this fall.

Experimenting with pop, rock, new wave, EDM and even rap at certain points, COIN has kept the surprises coming since they formed in Nashville in 2012. You never know which musical direction they’ll take with singles like “Talk Too Much,” “Chapstick,” “I Would” and “Malibu 1992.” Without giving too much away, the guys in COIN give every live show their all. And it results in an unparalleled kind of indie rock show that people haven’t stopped talking about for twelve years now.
