Chris Isaak 2023 Tour Announcement – Almost Christmas Tour Schedule

Rockabilly veteran Chris Isaak is spreading holiday cheer! He’s set to embark on the “Almost Christmas Tour” later this year, beginning on October 30th in Nashville, TN. He’ll stop in cities like Durham, NC, Huntington, NY, Milwaukee, WI, and more before concluding on December 20th in Temecula, CA.

As he wraps up his joint performances with Lyle Lovett, this rockabilly sensation is warming up his vocal cords for the most vivid holiday classics. We’re referring to “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” “White Christmas,” and “Let It Snow.” Quick reminder: all of these standout songs were featured on his first seasonal album, 2004’s Christmas! How has it been almost two decades since that holiday masterpiece fell into our laps? But wait, there’s more…he came out with a second Yuletide record last year.

Chris Isaak took the term “Christmas in July” a bit literally when he started working on what’s now known as Everybody Knows It’s Christmas. He recorded the project during the warmer days of quarantine, and came out of a dark time with a set of dreamy holiday covers. All with a country-rock twist, of course! Just listen to his takes on “O Holy Night,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Winter Wonderland,” and more. And you’ll understand exactly what we’re talking about.

Prior to the release of his second Christmas project, Isaak hadn’t come out with a new record since his twelfth album, 2015’s First Comes The Night. The holidays seem to bring out the best in everyone! But while we’re obsessed with his brooding voice over “merry and bright songs,” we’re also holding out hope for a few non-holiday tracks on the setlist, too. Perhaps “Wicked Game,” arguably the most famous Chris Isaak song ever, along with “Baby Did A Bad Thing,” “Blue Hotel,” or “Life Will Go On?”

Often considered a modern Elvis Presley, the name Chris Isaak has been ringing in our ears (along with his crooning voice) for nearly four decades now. He’s a country music and rock and roll icon who has blended these genres effortlessly over the years, and now he’s adding some holiday tracks into the mix!
