Chicago 2023-2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Chicago is visiting all your favorite cities over the next few months! The rock band will next play on September 16th in Fort Worth, TX, continuing through February 16th in Lubbock, TX.
While they’re named for the Midwest city where they formed over 55 years ago, Chicago is heading everywhere in 2023. From Franklin, TN, and Hollywood, FL, to Worcester, MA, there’s plenty of chances to see the self-proclaimed “rock and roll band with horns!” Chicago has a hefty catalog of hits including “Hard To Say I’m Sorry,” “Searchin’ So Long,” and “Saturday In The Park.” And you’ll hear these and dozens more at your nearby Chicago concert.
That’s hardly an exaggeration, as Chicago regularly performs with a packed setlist of 25+ songs! While they’re all in their 70s now, the band can still go as hard (or soft, or jazzy…) onstage as groups half their age. Even the genre’s greatest can’t compete with their sensual horn section or jazzy vibes. You know, the ones that have helped them sell 40 million albums and earn a reputation as one of the best in rock music. Chicago tours continue to sell out nationwide, and they’re still releasing new music, too!
The band came out with Chicago XXXVIII: Born for This Moment last year, marking their 38th album and first full-length record of new material since 2014. The lead single, “If This Is Goodbye,” was a big hit on Chicago’s 2022 co-headlining trek with Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, and still continues to make waves! This was always the goal for Chicago, who aim to create timeless sounds for every generation of music lovers. “I hope that 55 years from now, listeners will actually feel something about our music and our lyrics,” says keyboardist Robert Lamm about the latest Chicago album.
“I mean, we’re all human. We all go through some variation of the same pain and joy at some point in our lives, and there’s a commonality to that. I hope listeners in the future will actually get all those feelings while listening to our music.” Mission accomplished! Even with endless accolades, like a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and one Grammy Award, under their belts, Chicago just keeps getting better. And you’ll be enamored by their setlist of old jazz rock favorites from every decade. Get your tickets now!
