Chicago 2021 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

Chicago will be on tour through the rest of 2021, and you’ll want to grab tickets to see the rock group perform their greatest hits! The band’s next concert takes place on September 13th in San Diego, CA, and continues through December 18th in Biloxi, MS!

Formed in Chicago, IL all the way back in 1967, the band that describes themselves as having “a legacy of rock, horns, and hits” is finally ready to get back on the road. While they’re far from the only 1960’s band to tour in 2021 (looking at you, ZZ Top!), Chicago’s musical style has set them apart for half a century. 

The group contains a whopping eleven members – playing instruments like keyboard, trumpet, trombone, and woodwinds to give Chicago their distinctive jazz-rock sound. With countless hit singles like “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” and “Hard Habit to Break” under their belt, plus twenty-five albums, the legacy of Chicago is clear. 

“For over a quarter of a century, Chicago has produced 20 Top 10 hits and 15 platinum or multiplatinum albums and sold more than 100 million records,” Rolling Stone wrote in 2016. “They are second only to the Beach Boys in Billboard singles and albums chart success among American bands.”

In the five years since that article was written, Chicago has accomplished even more… including a catchy Christmas album and a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! 

While performances were sidelined due to the pandemic, the band is full of scrappy, jazzy individuals who knew they would always find their way back to the stage. After all, they’re one of the very few American rock bands that maintained their popularity through the British invasion!
