Bret Michaels 2024 Tour Announcement – Parti-Gras 2.0 Tour Schedule
The party continues with Bret Michaels! The Poison frontman is kicking off the “Parti-Gras 2.0 tour” this summer, joined by his famous friends for a night of intoxicating rock and roll. Not to mention, a little country, too! This expedition kicks off on July 12th in Noblesville, IN, stopping in Burgettstown, PA, Alpharetta, GA, Clarkston, MI, and Holmdel, NJ. He’ll conclude on August 31st in Gilford, NH.
A continuation of last year’s Pari-Gras tour, in which Michaels lit up the stage with Journey vocalist Steve Augeri and Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath, Parti-Gras 2.0 will be a new-and-improved musical extravaganza. He opened up about his vision in a recent interview, and it’s exactly what you’d expect from a rock god like Bret Michaels. “I guarantee these festivals are a modern-day throwback to those epic tailgate bashes, overflowing with good vibes and nothing but positive energy,” he said in a statement.
“I created the ‘Parti-Gras‘ festivals first and foremost as a fan of music, bringing along friends, bands and hit songs. I love it as a celebration of the music — no ego, just nothing but a good time. I like bringing fans up on the stage to sing…with the tough years we’ve been through, I wanted to bring the fans a night of having fun, singing big hit music, and I promise you that I really get into the details — all-killer hits, no filler.”
“I want it to be an audiovisual experience,” he continued. “I want it to be a great time from the minute you come through the gates. Let your Mardi Gras flag fly with bandanas and beads. I want it to smell like summertime in the sun. I’m even pouring my own personal coconut rum into the hazers so everything smells good, looks good, sounds good and feels good. And, as the son of a veteran, always dedicating the show and my gratitude to the men and women that have served our country and given us the freedom to rock.”
This year’s Parti-Gras 2.0 lineup is nothing short of sensational, featuring a blend of iconic artists bringing their signature hits to the stage. It begins with Michaels good friend, country music hero Chris Janson, known for hits like “All I Need Is You,” “Buy Me A Boat,” and “Fix A Drink.” Spoiler alert: there’s a strong chance that he’ll join Michaels’ set for dueling harmonica solos, including on the Poison classic “Your Mama Don’t Dance.”
Meanwhile, Don Felder, formerly of The Eagles, will add oomph to the evening with a selection of chart-toppers, followed by Rock And Roll Hall of Fame-nominated Lou Gramm, the original voice of Foreigner. Last, but definitely not least, is Dee Snider of Twisted Sister. This is the rock and roll quartet (plus a little country from Jansen!) that we didn’t even know we needed. And the Parti-Gras 2.0 tour will live up to its name with these limited-edition, high-powered performances. Get your tickets to the Bret Michaels tour today!
