Blues Traveler 2024 Tour Announcement – 30 Years of Four Tour Schedule
Blues Traveler is returning to the road this fall, celebrating three decades of their iconic album, four. Highly-regarded as one of the most successful projects of the band’s career, the Americana heroes intend to do justice to their 1994 record on dozens of dates. They’ll begin on September 13th in Spencer, IA, continuing through November 17th in St. Petersburg, FL.
“This fall, we’re CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF FOUR!” Blues Traveler said in a statement. “We always play the hits — now it’s time for deeper cuts from FOUR to shine alongside them.” Those aforementioned hits include “Run-Around,” “Hook,” and “The Mountains Win Again,” all of which have become setlist staples over the past three decades. But now, it’s time for their lesser-known musical siblings to get the spotlight…and it’s going to result in some of the most revolutionary Blues Traveler concerts yet.
four was a turning point for Blues Traveler, with the now six-times-platinum record launching them at full force into the mainstream music world. The record reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and produced two Top 40 singles, while “Run-Around” won the band their first (and only) GRAMMY Award in 1996! Don’t get us wrong, Blues Traveler had already made an impression since their 1987 formation as blues and folk rock favorites. However, it was four that really put them on the map.
Blues Traveler’s impact on music isn’t just limited to their recorded work, either, as their live shows are legendary. Known worldwide as a beloved jam band, they’ve played thousands of shows…and every last one is a little bit different than the last. Between switched-up setlists, surprise guests, and unique arrangements that will leave you wide-eyed, Blues Traveler concerts are a treat from start to finish. And the 30 Years of Four tour will be no exception.
Did you know that Blues Traveler has a standing reservation at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, every single Fourth of July? They’re just that good! They’ll be playing the venue again this year, too, but it’s the fall tour that will leave you wanting more. Prepare to celebrate four like never before, because tickets are now available for the following dates:
