Blues Traveler 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Blues Traveler is touring again in spring 2023 to support their upcoming album, Live and Acoustic Fall of 1997! The jam band will begin on April 25th in Hutchinson, KS, continuing through May 24th in Plymouth, NH.
Following the success of last year’s highly successful 35th-anniversary tour, Blues Traveler wasn’t ready to step away from the road just yet. They’re bringing a blast from the past into 2023 with a new album of acoustic hits from 25 years ago, which will sound just as flawless when played live a quarter-century later! Featuring classics like “Run-Around,” “But Anyway,” and “The Mountains Win Again,” plus deeper cuts from their catalog, this record will represent all eras of Blues Traveler and their timeless blues rock tracks. And you can celebrate one of their most promising records in years at these incredible performances.
Don’t get us wrong; they’ve been at the top of their game in recent years, too. They released Traveler’s Blues in 2021, a “collection of re-imagined and recharged classics,” while the 2022 Blue’s Traveler anniversary tour was one of the most successful rock treks of the year. They’ve built a brand for themselves that started in 1980s New Jersey and has since made its way across the globe, and it’s safe to say that Blue’s Traveler won’t stop performing anytime soon.
“Blues Traveler is not just a band; it’s a lifestyle. Blues Traveler is our life’s work. It’s enabled us to do so many other things,” says guitarist Chan Kinchla. “This little tribe we built in New York during the late eighties has survived all the way through—plus or minus some dearly departed brothers and sisters,” Kinchla continued, “It’s empowered us to be creative, make people happy, and travel around spreading some good vibes.” He concluded, “The longer we do it, the more we like it.”
