Billy Strings 2021 Tour Announcement – Renewal Tour Schedule

Billy Strings is coming to a city near you this fall – celebrating with hit songs both old and new! His next performance takes place on September 8th in Los Angeles, while he will continue touring through January 1, 2022, in Grand Rapids, MI.

Strings, born William Apostol, has a lot to celebrate in 2021. It’s not just the return of live music, which has allowed him to play to packed crowds in cities like Pittsburgh, PA, and New Haven, CT, but also his upcoming fifth album, Renewal. Set to be released on September 24th, you can now buy tickets for the two-day release party in Buena Vista, CO, along with String’s many other performances for the fall.

This album is sentimental and worth celebrating for Billy Strings, as it marks a new chapter for the 28-year-old singer. The sound is softer and a bit more subdued than the upbeat, bluegrass feels of his previous material – which is made clear with the single “In the Morning Light.” 

“Gone are the flashy guitar leads that made the 28-year-old from Ionia, MI a star,” Live For Live Music wrote about the new Billy Strings song. “Instead, the song, co-written with Paul Hoffman, showcases Strings’ lyrical prowess as he contemplates what love—if any–he deserves.” 

Ironically, love is something that’s abundant for Billy Strings. Not only is “In the Morning Light,” a love letter to his girlfriend, Ally, he also has legions of adoring fans who are lining up to see him perform! While this tour is in celebration of Renewal, he’ll also be playing classics like “Watch it Fall,” “Meet Me at the Creek,” and “Love Like Me.”
