Ben Platt 2022 Tour Announcement – Reverie Tour Schedule
Ben Platt is starting the second leg of his “Reverie tour” in fall 2022, which continues to support the Broadway star-turned-pop singer’s sophomore album! He’ll begin performances on September 3rd in Seattle, WA, and wrap up on October 7th in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
“Tour is less than four months away!” Platt wrote on Instagram. “I’m over the moon to have icons Aly and AJ joining me on the road!” For millennials like Ben Platt, a concert with these former Disney Channel darlings is a dream come true. And it’s just the beginning of the excitement on the Reverie tour. Platt will sing his favorite songs off his second album, like “Imagine” and “Happy to Be Sad,” plus other hits from Broadway and beyond.
Platt will sing just about anything, as he’s a music fan before anything else. He’s known to cover other artists’ songs on social media, like “Yesterday” by The Beatles and “I Know a Place” by Muna. He also collaborated with Lady Gaga in 2021 to cover her hit song “You and I,” which was featured on the singer’s 10th Anniversary album, Born This Way Reimagined. This is why you’ll never know exactly which songs you’ll get at a Ben Platt concert, as he likes to switch things up each night. However, one thing is for sure… he loves hearing people sing along!
Platt had his big break in 2017 when he starred as the titular character in the smash Broadway musical, Dear Evan Hansen. While he’s made more of a transition into modern pop these days, he’ll always hold Evan dear (pun intended) to his heart. And not just because it earned him a Tony, Emmy, and Grammy award. His stunning performance in 2021’s movie adaptation was much-talked-about, and now that he’s slowly bidding goodbye to Evan… he has plenty of other incredible projects in the works. Three films in production, hinting at new music, and time back on Broadway in Parade? The 28-year-old is very busy these days, but he always has time for another Ben Platt tour.
