Bastille 2022 Tour Announcement – Give Me the Future Tour Schedule
Bastille has announced dates for the Give Me the Future tour, named for their upcoming fourth album. The British group will kick off their trek on May 14th in Memphis, TN, and continue through June 17th in Columbus, OH.
This Bastille tour announcement coincides with their new single, “Shut Off the Lights,” which The Music Universe describes as a “future festival anthem.” With its obvious 80s influences and alt-pop beats so brilliantly Bastille, this statement is certainly far from an exaggeration. However, a festival isn’t the only place you’ll be allowed to dance along to these beautiful new tracks.
“Shut Off the Lights” is destined to become a crowd favorite on this headlining Bastille tour as well, along with previously-released new singles like “Distorted Light Beam” and “Thelma + Louise.” As the name suggests, this album emphasizes science and technology while also providing relatable content about living through these strange times.
Scheduled to be released on February 4th, Give Me the Future is one of the most anticipated albums of 2022. It was written during the pandemic by frontman Dan Smith, who has been open about his own mental health struggles and how they were affected by the pandemic.
