Iron Maiden 2027 Tour Announcement – Run For Your Lives Tour Schedule
Iron Maiden are coming back in 2027 for the “Run For Your Lives tour” after promising to take a break…some are surprised, while others think it’s very in-character. The surprise run begins April 14 in Tacoma before visiting Vancouver, Portland, Chula Vista, San Bernardino, Phoenix, Dallas, Tampa, Atlanta, Raleigh, New York and more. They’ll finish with headlining slots at Sonic Temple on May 14 and Boardwalk Rock on May 16, with Bullet For My Valentine and The Raven Age joining the headline dates.
“As many of our fans know, Maiden were planning on taking a break from live performances in 2027, but we’ve been enjoying this last leg in the USA and Canada so much that we all had a chat and decided we should take the show to parts we missed, particularly the North West and South East,” says founding bassist Steve Harris. “We can’t get everywhere but we can try!”
“Also, we have always enjoyed playing the many great festivals that are in Europe and wanted to experience a couple more in the USA which we will do at the end of the tour in Columbus and Maryland. At festivals you are not just playing to your own fans so it’s always a challenge and we all love a challenge!” While that last part is true, he’s forgetting one important detail…every rock fan knows Iron Maiden.
Even casual listeners likely know some or most of the words to “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” “The Trooper, and “The Number of the Beast,” all of which will be screamed out at festivals next spring. We saw this on the first leg of the Run For Your Lives Tour, and by the time it ends, the trek will have clocked 107 shows for more than three million fans across 36 countries. That’s one hell of a 50th anniversary celebration.
The 2027 Iron Maiden tour also gives fans one more shot at a setlist built around the band’s first nine studio albums, from Iron Maiden through Fear of the Dark. That means plenty of room for “Run to the Hills,” “The Trooper,” “Powerslave,” “2 Minutes to Midnight,” “Killers,” and other songs known as metal masterpieces over the past five decades. Maiden have also promised the full dramatic production for every 2027 show, so expect Eddie, pyro, towering backdrops, and more that competes with even Metallica’s beloved M72 tour. Yes, the one with a rotating stage.
And that legacy is exactly why this “one last leg” feels worth taking seriously. Iron Maiden formed in 1975, helped define the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, and have since sold more than 130 million albums while playing over 2,000 shows around the world. The Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Powerslave, Somewhere in Time, and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son helped write the blueprint for generations of metal bands that followed.
Their influence runs through everyone from Metallica to Dream Theater, and in 2026 they finally added Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees to the résumé. Now you have to see them live, right? Get your 2027 Iron Maiden tickets now.
