Brandy & Monica 2025 Tour Announcement – The Boy is Mine Tour Schedule
Brandy and Monica are embarking on a joint “The Boy is Mine Tour” later this year, taking the songstresses to 20+ cities. Joined by Kelly Rowland and Muni Long, they’ll begin on October 16th in Cincinnati, OH, continuing though December 7th in Houston, TX.
“This really is a full-circle moment. Monica and I coming together again isn’t just about the music — it’s about honoring where we came from and how far we’ve both come,” says Brandy. “‘The Boy Is Mine’ was a defining chapter in R&B, and to share the stage all these years later is bigger than a reunion, it’s a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one.”
That’s right; before Ariana Grande made the song title her own with last year’s “The Boy Is Mine,” Brandy and Monica did it first, all the way back in 1998. It became the first No.1 pop hit for both singers and the US’s best-selling track of the year — spending an impressive 13 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100. And even nearly three decades later, the smooth R&B transitions and sultry vocals hit harder than ever.
Both women have had incredible careers in the years since. Brandy released a Christmas album in 2023…and while it’s been a decade since Monica’s last record, 2015’s Code Red, she has more than enough R&B hits to go around. The ‘The Boy is Mine tour’ will be a chance to see them not only perform the titular song together onstage, but also their respective hits. Ready to hear Brandy’s “Missing You” and “Right Here” or “So Gone” by Monica?
Even those who weren’t around for the iconic release of “The Boy is Mine” in 1998 can appreciate the impact of the song…both on the R&B genre and modern music, as a whole. While Monica and Brandy have been pitted against each other in the past, this joint trek will be a chance to celebrate sisterhood, soul, and the song that started it all. And they can’t wait to see you in the crowd. Get your tickets to see Monica and Brandy today!
