G-Eazy 2024 Tour Announcement – Freak Show Tour Schedule
G-Eazy is back with the “Freak Show tour!” Supporting his just-released seventh album of the same name, the rapper and producer will begin on October 12th in Fresno, CA. He’ll stop in Los Angeles, CA, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, and more before concluding on November 27th in Seattle, WA.
Freak Show is G-Eazy’s first full-length album in three years, and arguably his most personal yet. The lead single, “Anxiety,” delves into his struggles with mental health, providing raw and honest insight into his inner demons over an upbeat chorus. Meanwhile, “Love You Forever” is a heartbreaking anthem about the loss of his mother, and it’s just the start of the vulnerability he showed in these verses.
“It’s an album about self-acceptance. It is honest,” G-Eazy told USA Today about Freak Show. It’s revealing of how I got here, who I’ve been, the stories of the come-up and some of the hardships and some of the missteps and some of the flaws along the way.” Featuring guest vocals from French Montana, Coi Leray, Leon Bridges, and more, this record is experimental not only in subject matter but also musical styles.
While primarily known as a hip-hop artist, G-Eazy is also known to push the boundaries of music and incorporate an “everything and the kitchen sink” approach. And Freak Show is no exception. These new songs incorporate not only rap but also trap, rock, pop-punk and alternative elements to lean into every genre. And if anyone can pull it off, it’s G-Eazy…the mega-talented artist that’s blown us away with his work for nearly two decades now.
Along with the new songs, the Freak Show tour will likely feature a handful of older hits, as well. Who doesn’t love “Me, Myself & I” with Bebe Rexha, “No Limit” with Cardi B and ASAP Rocky, or “Lady Killers II?” Speaking of which, he recently came out with the third edition of this song trilogy, “Lady Killer III,” which is already going viral on TikTok in true G-Eazy style.
