Neil Young and Crazy Horse 2024 Tour Announcement – Love Earth Tour Schedule
Neil Young and Crazy Horse are hitting the road on the “Love Earth tour!” Celebrating a half-century of musical collaboration, including their upcoming LP, FU##IN’ UP, these artists are determined to put on the show of a lifetime. They’ll kick off on April 24th with two nights in San Diego, CA, continuing through May 23rd in Chicago, IL.
“In the spirit it’s offered…made this for the Horse lovers,” Young said about the nine-song project recorded in 2023. “I can’t stop it. The horse is runnin’. What a ride we have. I don’t want to mess with the vibe. I am so happy to have this to share.” While there are many iconic musical collaborations to speak of in the rock genre, Neil Young and Crazy Horse may just top the list. Bouncing between folk, country, and psychedelic and soft rock, they complement each other perfectly to embody everything that American (or Canadian, in Young’s case) music is about.
Who can forget their decades of joint performances, including superb duets on songs like “Chevrolet” and “Like A Hurricane?” The fun continues on the Love Earth tour, with reimagined takes of longtime favorites to put you on your feet. Inspired by an impromptu performance in Toronto last November, where Neil Young and Crazy Horse performed their 1990 album, Ragged Glory in its entirety, FU##IN’ UP features fresh titles on old favorites. For example, “Over and Over” is now “Broken Circle,” while “Love and Only Love” has transitioned to “A Chance on Love” and “Love to Burn” is now “Valley of Hearts.”
Over three decades later, you’ll experience the magic of these songs under a re-imagined, but still very relevant spotlight. FU##IN’ UP symbolizes a timeless musical collaboration that will never go out of style. And even as Young released his 45th album, Before and After, last year, the iconic singer-songwriter couldn’t resist the chance to team up with Crazy Horse again. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and seventh most-acclaimed musical artist of all time has more than earned his own respective legacy, but prefers to share it with his friends in Crazy Horse.
