Insomnium 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Insomnium is heading back on the road for a long overdue tour! The Finnish metal giants will kick off on April 11th in Cambridge, MA, continuing for exactly one month before wrapping up on May 11th in New York, NY.
“Insomnium are teaming up with their friends from Omnium Gatherum for 25 nights of gloom and sinister anthems in North America,” the band said in a statement. “For years, the American and Canadian fans have been waiting for the combo of “Insomnium Gatherum” to hit the road together again after the pandemic-related cancellation in 2020 and now, with no more virus in sight, it will finally happen in April and May 2024.”
They’ll also be joined by Wilderun during this much-anticipated event. And metalheads from all over the world are gathering in the heaviest type of harmony. With aggressive riffs, epic mosh pits, and melancholy-yet-melodic death metal at their fingertips, Insomnium is putting on a killer show for all. Whether you’re a fan of older tracks like “Down With the Sun” and “Weather the Storm” or newer ones from their ninth and latest album, 2023’s Anno 1696, you’ll be thrashing along to every song.
This record came out last February, marking Insomnium’s first new project in four years and igniting a fury in the metal community. Singles like “The Witch Hunter,” “White Christ,” and “Lillian” helped listeners unlock a sense of rage mixed with relatability that they didn’t know they needed.
