Geoff Tate and Vandenberg 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

Gather around, metalheads…because Geoff Tate and Vandenberg are embarking on a co-headlining tour in 2024! The powerhouse rock stars will begin on February 26th in Clearwater, FL, continuing through March 16th in San Antonio, TX.

Where does one even begin with the epicness of this trek? For one, it’s the first tour in over three decades for Vanderberg, both the band and the legendary guitarist it’s named after. More on that later. Then there’s the heavy metal realness of Geoff Tate, the former Queensrÿche vocalist and current rock entrepreneur that you can’t miss. Whether you’ve been a fan of both artists since the 1980s or just got into them recently, courtesy fan-favorite 2020s albums, you’ll have your sign of the horns up all night!

“Finally following up on the historic quote ‘Go West, Young Man!’ ‘Young men’ in this case, because I’m bringing my übertalented kick ass band with me to the U.S. of course,” Adrian Vandenberg said in a statement. “And it’s about freakin’ time guys. My first American tour since the WHITESNAKE 1990 tour, this is seriously exciting!! Some classic VANDENBERG songs and an XXXL order of songs from my WHITESNAKE years will get torpedo’d upon our American friends with a BANG. Can’t wait to see y’all! BIG ROCK coming your way!!”

Adrian Vandenberg got his start in the late 1970s touring with some of the world’s biggest metal groups, like KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, Scorpions and more! He dabbled between Whitesnake and his own self-titled band, becoming a certified rock star as he released one hit after another. Did you know that it was Vandenberg who laid down that iconic lead guitar solo in the Whitesnake hit, “Here I Go Again?” And that’s just the beginning of his legacy in the world of heavy metal. He released the last Vanderberg album, 2020, in that same year, and plans to put out the next one, Sin, in 2023…so expect some new tracks for the setlist!

And then there’s Geoff Tate, who has an impressive resume all his own. He was the original Queensrÿche vocalist for a whopping thirty years, from their 1982 formation until 2012! What has he been up to since then? We hardly know where to start. He has a myriad of side projects including Operation: Mindcrime and Sweet Oblivion, the second of which just released new music in 2021. And will there be any of his Queensrÿche songs included in the setlist? Admittedly, it’s unlikely, but we don’t rule anything out in Tate’s casually crazy performances.
