The Used And Sleeping With Sirens 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
The Used and Sleeping With Sirens have announced a joint trek, taking the beloved emo bands nationwide! Joined by Dead American, they’ll kick off on September 5th in Birmingham, AL, continuing through October 11th in Paso Robles, CA.
To say that The Used are road warriors would hardly do them justice. The Utah-bred post-hardcore band has toured practically nonstop for the past year! First, they played the inaugural When We Were Young Fest in October before heading out with A Day to Remember throughout the fall. Then came the Creative Control Tour with Pierce The Veil, which they’re currently wrapping up.
Now The Used are ready to scream along to their favorite songs with Sleeping With Sirens, and it will be an epic night of emo. Supporting their ninth album, Toxic Positivity, the setlist will include plenty of new favorites like “Numb,” “Giving Up,” and “Worst I’ve Ever Been.” That being said, don’t think they’ve forgotten about the classics! Any emo kid in the 2000s remembers iconic numbers like “I Caught Fire,” “The Taste of Ink,” and “The Bird And The Worm,” all of which will be performed on the latest tour.
The Used frontman Bert McCracken’s voice is known as one of the most raspily recognizable (in the best way!) in the post-hardcore scene. However, his tourmate may just give him a run for his money. Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens has an unimaginable vocal range, capable of drawing out sky-high belts one moment before a bone-chilling scream the next. He’s the frontman with all the looks, charisma, talent, and everything in between, which you’ll see firsthand at these shows.
Sleeping With Sirens is celebrating its seventh album, 2022’s Complete Collapse, featuring new songs like “Bloody Knuckles,” “Crosses,” and “Let You Down.” They had a blast on last year’s “Ctrl + Alt + Del Tour,” and now they’re ready to get back on the road with some old friends. Just like The Used, the Sleeping With Sirens performance will encapsulate every era of their decade-plus career, and we can’t wait to hear it.
Remember their greatest hits, like “If You Can’t Hang,” “Better Off Dead,” and “If I’m James Dean, You’re Audrey Hepburn?” Another fun fact: Kellin Quinn provided guest vocals on the wildly popular 2012 hit “King For A Day” by Pierce the Veil, who are just completing their summer 2023 shows with The Used. Talk about a full-circle moment!
The metalcore scene is a very small world, but a beautiful one, at that. And The Used and Sleeping With Sirens can’t wait to welcome you with open arms and a few scream choruses. Get your tickets to the following dates now!
