BLACKPINK 2023 Tour Announcement – Born Pink Encore Tour Schedule
BLACKPINK has announced a set of “encore” shows for their “Born Pink World Tour,” which ran last fall. The K-pop girl group will start performing on August 12th in East Rutherford, NJ, making stops in Las Vegas, NV, and San Francisco, CA, before concluding on the 26th in Los Angeles, CA.
Fresh off their history-making Coachella set, where they became the first-ever girl group and Korean artists to headline the iconic music festival, BLACKPINK is back and ready to perform again. They’re continuing last year’s trek in even bigger venues, playing at the whopping 82,500-capacity Metlife Stadium in New Jersey along with the 56,000-seat Dodger Stadium in Southern California. It’s certainly well-deserved. BLACKPINK continues to be one of the biggest groups in not only K-pop but the music world as a whole!
Their two-hour Coachella set included all their biggest hits, including “Pink Venom,” “How You Like That,” “Ice Cream,” and “As If It’s Your Last.” And chances are that these upcoming BLACKPINK concerts will be just as jam-packed. They’re continuing to support their sophomore full-length album, Born Pink, which instantly made its mark on the music world when it came out last year. The lead singles, “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down,” both spent weeks at No.1 on the Billboard 200, and that’s just the beginning of BLACKPINK’s accolades.
The four members – Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, have also achieved three People’s Choice Awards, two VMAs, nine Gaon Chart Music Awards, and six Guinness World Records. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK performed at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards and now Coachella, while they’re currently booked to perform at some of the country’s biggest venues. What a year, right?
