Katy Perry 2022 Las Vegas – Play! Residency Schedule
Katy Perry is relaunching her Las Vegas residency, called “Play!”, in October 2022… and you don’t want to miss out on these eight performances. The pop megastar will kick off on the 5th at Resorts World Las Vegas and continue through the 22nd.
“It is literally larger than life,” Perry told Variety about her Las Vegas residency last year before it opened in late 2021.. “Think Super Bowl, but supersized. … This isn’t the next tour, next record, next era. This is an accumulation of everything. It’s probably the weirdest show I’ve ever done. Its humor is dark. It’s a little wrong — but a good wrong.” Anybody who has seen Perry’s residency in Sin City now knows that she wasn’t joking. The show is just as vibrant, visual, and downright strange as you’d expect from the pop superstar, and she’s not quite ready to say goodbye to Las Vegas yet.
Perry has been juggling her performance schedule, stint as a judge on American Idol, and motherhood for the past year, but you’d never know it based on her flawless performances. She was open about her plans, and longtime fans won’t be disappointed. “I’ll probably go and make another record soon and write it and tour the world after this, which will be so great,” she recently told Drew Barrymore on her talk show.
