Anthrax and Black Label Society 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Anthrax and Black Label Society are embarking on a co-headlining tour in summer 2022, visiting 24 cities. The punk legends will kick off the trek on July 26th in Phoenix, AZ, and continue through August 28th in Philadelphia, PA.
“Zakk has been a friend and an inspiration to me as a guitar player, songwriter, and beard grower since we met in 1988,” Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian said of his longtime friend, Black Label Society frontman Zakk Wylde.” We’ve had the privilege to share festival stages with Zakk and BLS around the world, and it’s always been a head-banging mutual admiration society between the two bands.”
“Now we get to share the stage every night on what is easily going to be the heaviest tour of 2022 – the ultimate pounding one-two combination of bands,” he continued. “Oh, and did I mention we’ve got Hatebreed with us as our special guests? Anthrax has hinted that a follow-up to 2016’s For All Kings is right around the corner, likely being released sometime in 2023. So, in addition to the group’s classic punk rock songs on the setlist, like “Bring the Noise,” “Indians,” and “Got the Time,” you’ll also hear a few new tunes! This will be a punk reunion unlike any other, and you need to see Anthrax and Black Label Society on their first-ever co-headlining tour.
