Willie Nelson has announced a lineup and dates for the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, featuring the outlaw country legend and many of his famous friends. He’ll be joined by ZZ Top, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, Gov’t Mule, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and many more in a rotating lineup! The tour kicks off on June 24th in St. Louis, MO, and hits dozens of major cities before the final show in Philadelphia, PA, on September 23rd.
“The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about family and friends coming together for a great day of music and fun,” Nelson said. “And with the amazing group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw Tour to date. I just can’t wait to get back on the road again.” The 88-year-old Nelson has been performing for six decades, and two years away from the stage was tough on the country music legend. But it’s only inspired him to perfect the Willie Nelson concert experience, and you can expect an epic night of outlaw country on the Outlaw Music Festival tour.
Outlaw Music Festival began in 2016 after a one-day show in Pennsylvania, drawing in thousands of fans and featuring acts like Neil Young and Sheryl Crow. Fans expressed their desire online for a repeat of the concert in the coming years, and Willie Nelson and his friends were happy to oblige. Artists like Luke Combs, Eric Church, Bob Dylan, and Bonnie Raitt have all made appearances at Outlaw Music Festival over the years, and it only gets bigger and better in 2022.
