Halestorm 2022 Tour Announcement – Back From the Dead Tour Schedule

Halestorm is ready to return to the road in spring 2022, announcing a 12-date tour supporting their upcoming album, Back From the Dead. See the female-fronted metal outfit beginning May 10th in Billings, MT, with shows continuing through the 30th in Missoula, MT.

“Freaks, let’s do this. We are ready to bring the rock show to the people,” Halestorm wrote on Instagram. “To add to the excitement, we also have the legendary Stone Temple Pilots, our friend Wolf Van Halen of Mammoth WVH, and dear brothers in Black Stone Cherry coming to tear it up with us!” This Halestorm tour will include the biggest rock shows of 2022, and tickets are likely going to sell out fast!

Fans have long anticipated the band’s fifth album and follow-up to 2018’s Vicious. They released the titular single in August 2021, which Rolling Stone called a “biting but cathartic howler about overcoming all obstacles — even death,” while praising the cinematic music video. It’s a bit macabre and very metal, in true Halestorm fashion, but lead singer Lzzy Hale states that there’s a deeper meaning behind the brutal (in the best way!) track. 

“This song is personal and written from a mental health perspective. I wanted to give myself and the world a hard rock song we could shout out loud as the gates opened again,” Hale says. “I was on the edge of this world getting completely lost in oblivion, but even though it was the harder of two choices, I didn’t just let the darkness and depression in my mind dig me an early grave.”

I didn’t just sit and let it take me…,” she continued. “I hope this song, as I pass it on to you, reminds YOU of your strength individually and that you are not alone.” It’s a powerful message from one of the greatest metal bands around, precisely what we needed after the darkness of 2020 and 2021. We can only imagine the meaningful singalongs and moshpits that will happen when “Back from the Dead” is played on the Halestorm tour, and it’s just the beginning of their catalog of hard-rock hits.
