You may know how to party, but can you party like Bert Kreischer? The frequently shirtless and mega-funny comic is known for his wild ways, and it’s been like this for decades. He was even featured in a 1997 Rolling Stone article. The publication referred to the Florida State University student as “the top partyer at the Number One Party School in the country.” He may be 49 years old now, but not much has changed.
Don’t get us wrong, Kreischer now has an impressive resume and reputation in the comedy world. He has sold out shows, hosted podcasts like Bertcast and 2 Bears, 1 Cave, and released acclaimed comedy specials on Netflix. The most recent was 2020’s Hey Big Boy, which certainly provided a few laughs during quarantine and will do the same in front of a live audience on this Bert Kreischer tour.
Remember how Bert Kreischer was one of the first comedians to host drive-in shows during the pandemic? It’s a testament to who he is… a revolutionary who brings fun times to even the direst situations. With influence from his friends and fellow comedians Dave Chapelle and Bill Burr, he’s been doing the same on the Berty Boy tour.
“It’s like what I’ve done in the past, but a lot more theatrical,” Kreischer told Vanyaland in November 2021. “I think it plays into wrapping my movie, where I learned different ways to access certain things. The strength isn’t always in d*** jokes, but rather in subtleties and nuances. If I get gun shy, there are a few jokes I won’t tell, but there are a lot of things that make this hour more emotional.”
Kreischer’s stand-up shows touch on everything, from his party-boy antics and celebrity friendships to more serious anecdotes about family and fatherhood. He has plenty of stories to tell, like the one about getting involved with a Russian mob that’s currently becoming a movie called The Machine, and you’ll want to listen to every detail.
